Sillon

Terms of sale

These terms govern your subscription to Sillon, published by Ludovic Cleuet. Subscribing means accepting this version. They are written in English, and the English version is the one that governs.

1. What the service is

Sillon is an online service for people who sell records on Discogs. It fetches your orders, lets you record the shipment of each parcel, publishes a page for every buyer summarising what is being sent to them, and produces at the end of the year a summary of your sales in the form the DAC7 declaration expects.

The service assumes you hold an active Discogs seller account and that you authorise Sillon to access it on your behalf.

2. Subscribing

The subscription is taken out online. Payment is collected by Polar, acting as merchant of record: Polar invoices you, collects the VAT applicable in your country, and holds your payment details. The publisher never has access to your card number.

Access opens as soon as Polar confirms the payment, once you have authorised Sillon with Discogs.

3. Price and billing

The subscription costs €9 per month, all taxes included. It renews automatically each month, on the anniversary of the day you subscribed, until you cancel.

Invoices are available at any time from the Polar customer portal, reachable from the application. A price change never applies to a period already paid for and is announced to you at least thirty days in advance; you remain free to cancel before it takes effect.

4. Duration and cancellation

The subscription carries no minimum term. You cancel it whenever you like from the Polar customer portal, without giving a reason.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period: the month you have started remains paid for and the service stays open until its last day. No pro-rata refund is made, and no further payment is taken.

5. Right of withdrawal

If you subscribe as a consumer, you have fourteen days from the day you subscribe to withdraw, without giving a reason. This right is exercised with Polar, who is your seller under article 2.

Because access opens immediately, at your request, withdrawal releases you only for the future: in accordance with article L. 221-25 of the French consumer code, the amount corresponding to the days of access already supplied remains due, and the rest is refunded to you.

After that period, you may still cancel at any time under article 4.

6. What the service guarantees

The publisher undertakes to use reasonable means to keep the service available and your data intact. It does not guarantee uninterrupted availability: Sillon depends on third-party services — Discogs, the host, the photo storage — whose outages may suspend some or all of its functions.

Summary pages already published remain reachable by your buyers even if your subscription ends. A shipment you have already announced does not disappear because you stop paying.

7. Your obligations

  • Use the service only for your own sales, with a Discogs account you hold yourself.
  • Upload only photographs you have taken, showing the parcel being shipped, excluding any unlawful content and any personal data belonging to a third party.
  • Do not attempt to reach another seller's data, nor to work around the usage limits of the Discogs interface.

In the event of a serious breach, the publisher may suspend access after informing you, and terminate the subscription while refunding the unused period.

8. Liability

Sillon helps you announce a shipment; it does not carry it out. Tracking information is what you enter yourself, and delivery of the parcel is a matter for your carrier. The publisher cannot be held liable for a parcel lost, delayed or damaged, nor for an incorrect tracking number.

Should the publisher's liability be established, it is limited to the amounts actually paid for the last twelve months of subscription.

9. Personal data

How data is processed is set out in the privacy policy, which forms an integral part of these terms.

10. Complaints, mediation and governing law

Any complaint should first be addressed to contact@klaaro.fr. Failing a solution within thirty days, a consumer residing in the European Union may refer the matter free of charge to a consumer mediator, or use the European online dispute resolution platform.

These terms are governed by French law. A European consumer keeps the protective provisions of their country of residence.
